Searchable historic records are made available on FamilySearch.org through the help of thousands of volunteers from around the world. These volunteers transcribe (index) information from digital copies of handwritten records to make them easily searchable online. More volunteers are needed (particularly those who can read foreign languages) to keep pace with the large number of digital images being published online at FamilySearch.org. Learn more about volunteering to help provide free access to the world's historic genealogical records online at FamilySearch.org/indexing.

Hi Paul I an hoping you can assist me in finding a Marriage certificate for my maternal great grandparents who were married in the Catholic Church in Pretoria South Africa in the period of about 1880 - 1910. Sadly I have been searching for many years now without success. Here is the link to my g grandfather's profile on my Geni Tree and I have attached a copy of his Death Notice and on it, his wife Johanna stated they were married in the Catholic Church in Pretoria.Quite a few of their children were born in South Africa as well.I am really more interested in finding my g grandmother's family as this is the one person I have been unable to find. Thanks and kind regards Jeanette. https://www.geni.com/people/Antonius-Janjetich-Janjeti%C4%87/6000000018629378155?through=6000000012771907095#
